In my class I do a series of short tests to help recognized gaps and areas of growth in my students learning (Acadience/Dibbles). These tests require me to click on each individual letter a students says. It can be challenging to keep up with the speed of students. Because of this, a device with a touch screen will allow me to be quicker and more accurate with the testing. Having an iPad will allow me to do testing that is most effective when done with a touch screen device. This will allow me to better adapt my teaching to meet the individual needs of my students! Students love seeing the progress the make on these tests and it is a major motivator for them and their personal academic growth.
