I chose a wide range of materials to meet the needs both academically and for social emotional for my diverse group of students. Some of my students levels of executive functioning are at risk. Due to the pandemic students have not learned proper coping skills, therefore a trampoline and/or weighted blanket could help the vestibular system. When students are provided ways to feel successful academically the SE needs can also be met. In addition, due to the pandemic I have many students who are reading below grade level and are lacking engaging opportunities to acquire English through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
