The two Touchscreen Chromebooks provided by this grant will greatly help address the needs of the 100+ students I have contact with. My students are not only affected by their low level academic and communicative abilities, but also by the gap created from Covid-19 (because of illnesses and quarantines). This grant allows me to assign specific learning modules to meet the individual needs of my struggling students. I know that giving access to skill specific teaching modules provided by these Chromebooks, will help to decrease group instruction by providing more specific practice in order to address their learning gaps. The Chromebooks will give each student an opportunity to practice skills that were taught and need reinforcement and revisiting. Thus, allowing learning targets to become more concrete and committed to memory.
