I teach students with mild disabilities and we are so often underfunded. I have had to beg and borrow to get basic supplies like paper and pencils. Just having a cupboard of supplies to use will bring much needed relief to the classroom. I make food 2-3 times a week to feed whoever is hungry. The food bank often supplies me with some dry soups but I could always use more. Without a sink handy, the crock pot makes the process very doable. The students eat every bite and are always super grateful for the sustenance.
