The materials that I have chosen for this project is a variety of books from different genres and authors to put into my classroom. I am just starting to teach a reading class for students and would like to build a reading library in my classroom, that has a variety of books that students can choose from. These books will include classics to trending books that students are reading. I hope to inspire students to develop a love of reading and find that books can open their world. These books will be read by students in class, but they will also be allowed to check them out and take them home. This project encourages students to not only read in class, but to also read at home. The books chosen are on my 100 Book Challenge list that I have given students in the class. This list is to help students read a variety of genre's as well as fiction and nonfiction books. I want them, through the challenge, to find books that they might not have normally chosen to read, but fall in love with.
