One of the challenges of Special Education is that the students do not all learn on one level together. Each and every student is on a different reading level. As much as this can have its challenges it also comes with the wonderful reward of watching each student break down their learning barriers. COVID-19 has made it difficult for the students due to any given time students miss various days off school and have to rely on online learning. I have found it very difficult to find reading materials that are on the various reading levels that my students are one. I truly believe with the different reading sets I have requested will help my students not only will succeed at reading but they will start to enjoy Reading as well. I have found that with my students they learn better visually versus on a computer or with paper assignments. With a laminator I will be able to preserve various learning materials for years to come. Instead of verbal rewards or messages left of the students assignments the greatest reward I have found with my students is that they love candy. And the best way to reward my students for their various accomplishments is through candy.
