Students are already showing signs of the major gaps in their knowledge from everything shutting down due COVID-19. As a teacher, this is painful and heartbreaking to see. The items I am requesting will help students receive real world applications to the math I am teaching, help them rebuild their confidence in their schooling, and help support their social skills. By giving students hands on resources to complete activities, students will communicate with each other on a deeper level when discussing their projects and findings. When students communicate effectively, both their social-emotional and their academic skills are improved dramatically!

About my class
