Our students have many resources for learning available to them, but we have limited headphones, and the ones we have are so old they do not work. My non-English speakers have programs to help them become more confident with English, but once again the lack of headphones makes this difficult. The microphones in the headphones will help with our writing for those students with writing difficulties. This also allows for interactive lessons in which students can talk in live Zoom meetings for science and social studies virtual field trips. It also helps when completing group lessons. The ability to allow all students to hear what is going on and to work independently without having to hear others' computers and getting distracted will be more than beneficial. When working on a computer it is very distracting when you have to hear another person's computer. Students need the quiet to stay focused. By having these headphones my students can succeed even further.
