Due to Covid-19, a majority of the students' school work has been assigned for them to complete on a computer. Students must be able to watch and listen to learning videos, interact with their computer using a mouse, and be able to easily access, store and get to their computers. This project will allow them to be able to do that. Having this technology will allow me to spend more time one on one teaching them as well since they will be able to grab the materials they need. Right now our computers and chargers are jumbled together and the headsets that we do have are broken. Our mic does not work on the one headset that has a mic. Students must be able to use a headset with a mic to complete language arts assignments in one of the programs we use. Additionally, to accommodate students needing to learn at home or in separate classrooms, the social-emotional/behavioral modules I create for them to complete are on Nearpod, meaning that they will also need to use the computer for these as well. Most of the time they will be in my classroom if they need to do these assignments.
