My students need a calm down corner (bean bag, weighted blanket, timer, stress balls, breathing balls, books) when school becomes frustrating or when a student has sensory overload. Many of my students could benefit with a special place to work through their emotions. I have students who lack social/emotional skills due to distance learning they had last year (Covid). The letters, numbers, and perfection games can help with kinesthetic learning and give them more fine motor practice. Due to Covid illnesses, my students are academically behind and need more fine motor practice Finally, new headphones for distance learning (Seesaw and I-Ready) and for the classroom Chromebooks.
