COVID-19 is hard! The students are so excited to be at school, but quarantines and sick days are making attendance sporadic. When I'm teaching, I want to be with the students every step of the way. These materials will help me stay right with the students, and give us a chance to have a little fun, too! The iPad and accessories will help me create videos to help reinforce concepts students can watch at school or home. The students can also create videos to help show their understanding and complete projects. It can also give me a way to have a portable whiteboard and not have to be tethered to the front of the room. The headphones are essential to help the students access videos and programs on their Chromebooks. The DK books are visually stunning and chock-full of information. We have new science core in third grade, and this is an excellent supplement to our weather unit. Lastly, the markers and paint is to do some fun projects! And not to worry, they are the washable kind.
