This new table and train set will allow my preschool students to utilize various skills that are vital for child development. When playing with the train set, the students will need to problem solve together to build a track they agree upon. Social skills will be developed when creating the track and taking turns to add pieces while working together. The students will have to be patient with one another and create a project that they agree upon. The students may also build their fine motor skills when maneuvering the trains on the wooden tracks as well as building the train track. This material in the classroom will bring joy as well as many vital skills that are crucial for child development.
