These laptops will allow students to have more frequent instructional days of one to one instruction in small group. When the teacher is working one on one with students, my ESL and at risk students can complete online, leveled student work, independently, that will allow them to practice the concepts that have been taught. This will increase the teacher's access to the depth of student learning that is in place in two ways. First, she can measure how well students demonstrate their knowledge independently. Secondly, while working directly with lower performing students, she will know what essential skills/knowledge are not being grasped so that timely adjustments can be made.
