We will use polymer clay and additional supplies to explore the arts and crafts movement, and discuss activism through art, to make clay pins. This will also help students refine their craftsmanship through working with small items and details. Canvases, gesso and corn starch will allow us to create thick, textured images! We will use these items to create food portraits that pop out and look realistic. Additionally, we will explore the ways real artists work and experiment with materials! These materials will empower my students in their creative abilities and they will be so grateful!
