My class has been struggling with letter sounds and letter recognition. The pandemic has hit this age group hard. Some of these students have not been in school since the spring of 2020. I am hoping that having more hands-on classroom activities will help engage these students. These activities will help make our learning more interesting, engaging, and fun. I am currently doing the letters training with the State of Utah. I have recently learned various ways to use the soundbox mats, I can hardly wait to use these in my classroom.
