I will bring moments of enthusiasm and excitement to the "job" of reading! My students are special needs students who avoid reading and say it's boring. If I can show them it can bring joy to their lives, that's a huge first step! Often when they have just a few positive experiences of reading, it builds their courage and resilience, so that they dare approach the next time with a change of heart. Then, they are guided to different reading books that naturally tend to hook them. Please help me!
