The items that I am requesting will help me to be able to reach all the different levels of readers that I have in my classroom. By having a variety of fiction and nonfiction books on different levels, I can ensure that students will be reading engaging and informational texts while learning all the standards they need to master throughout the fourth grade. Using different genres within a small group reading session will broaden the knowledge and skills my students need to be successful as they move towards fifth grade.
