I have a wonderful third-grade class of 28 students. They are very creative, energetic, and eager to learn new things. One of my students' favorite ways to learn is with the use of technology. I love the engagement and excitement technology brings to my students. I try to incorporate technology as much as possible throughout the day to enhance learning. The headphones I have in my classroom are not holding up to the daily wear and tear. My students are constantly dealing with problems with their headphones like not being able to hear very well or at all. It would be so nice for them to be able to access technology without the frustration of the headphones breaking/not working. Also, my class has a wide range of skills and abilities. Having manipulatives available for my students will help my struggling students with hand/eye coordination, as well as my advanced students with constructing complex objects and designs. I can use these manipulatives with a variety of lessons especially with integrating subjects like science and math. Having a classroom library where students can easily access a book that interests them is very important to me. Book bins are the key to making this happen. Having these bins for my books to be organized and appealing for students will boost reading engagement and their desire to read.
