These Oculus virtual reality headsets will help my students get acclimated to presenting in the classroom and other spaces in front of an audience. It will do this by easing their anxiety and giving them the chance to practice with the feel of an audience without the fear of being in front of an audience. Using virtual reality headsets has been documented as one of the best ways to overcome speech anxiety, which is necessary for students' futures in the classroom and the business world. By using these headsets, students will be able to experience presenting in a multitude of different areas: the boardroom, in a conference, in a classroom, or an auditorium without the fear and anxiety usually related to such events.
