Whiteboards and markers will be used by students to work on problems and then show me their results. I can quickly look at all their results and assess who needs extra help. Also, having a classroom set of calculators provides all students the same learning opportunity. The TI-84 calculator will be an extra calculator for Calculus students to borrow when they forget theirs or need to check one out until they can get the money to buy one. Other technology will be used as a teaching tool. Motivational posters hung in my room will provide a positive environment to encourage student learning when the "learning gets tough."
