I am passionate about the importance of empowering students with the knowledge necessary to teach them to read and to fill in the missing gaps in their phonics instruction. My project is an investment in students learning through direct phonics instruction and to deepen my #classroombookaday library. My goal is to impact my students education for good. Research shows that only 35% of students are reading proficiently, however 95% of students CAN learn to read. Please help me to deliver effective reading instruction and to share my love of picture books with the materials that I have chosen. My love for teaching and my students is always there, however there are so many details that could make my classroom a teaching heaven! Being funded would mean the world to my students and myself. Thank you for considering my project.
