Some of the most critical moments when doing math and science is the opportunity for a hands-on experience.
Help give my students math and science manipulatives to enhance their learning in the classroom.
Magnetic base 10 bocks and math flash cards are just two examples of manipulatives that will allow my students to work individually and in small groups to better understand different concepts.
New science materials and manipulatives that align with the SEEd standards will greatly enhance my students' learning experience. Being able to conduct experiments and see first-hand how things work is essential in gaining knowledge and retaining new information.
My 4th grade students are still feeling the effects created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are still lagging in these math and science skills, and some ELL students are struggling on top of that with language barriers that prevent them from learning at higher levels.
I am excited to give my students the tools they need to help them advance their learning and understanding.
