When other body parts are injured, the progress is evident. However, when it comes to an injury to the brain, the return to normal is ambiguous. These units will provide the ability to generate stimuli in a safer environment. The Oculus units allow for coordination of the cognitive, visual, and balance components necessary to safely return athletes to their sport following concussion. The ability to promote a safer return to play following head injury is vital, not only to the athlete's physical health, but also to their social and emotional well being.
