Having a kitchen center in my classroom will help build my littles imagination and love for sharing. It is my hope that with the kitchen center my students will work collaboratively while they share materials and pretend to be chefs. The kitchen center will also help build students vocabulary as they immerse themselves in cooking and cleaning adventures. Kitchen centers encourage language and communication which is great for children in PK. It also helps children with pretend-play skills and imagination building. Overall, the kitchen center will be a fun place for the children to play and grow.
