My students get so excited when we get new books. The books we are requesting will be used by both students and teachers. Covid has caused all kinds of social and emotional problems, along with a lag in academics. Research shows that children who read regularly have lower stress levels and less depression. As well as increased vocabulary, improved brain connectivity, and most importantly increased empathy. These books we are purchasing along with the equipment will greatly increase both the emotional wellness and academic needs of our students. I would be so grateful to receive the funding for these items to help our students.

About my class
