I believe that the majority of students in my classroom learn kinesthetically. They work best using their hands and seeing how things work. Because of this, I want to give students the opportunity to build a "Mars Rover" as we learn about Newton's laws of motion and gravity. They will modify and add to their design as we go throughout the unit and have the opportunity to launch the Rover as a final project in order to show how these laws interact. In a separate unit, students will use modeling clay and markers to create a stop motion video showing how the parts of a cell interact.
