These materials will give me a starting point in targeting language, social, and functional communication skills. I work at a school for children with autism spectrum disorders and primarily in functional skills classrooms. As a speech-language pathologist, it's my job to help them communicate functionally in the classroom and beyond. Developing social-emotional skills, receptive and expressive language skills, and functional communication is especially crucial for these students to succeed in not only the academic setting, but, across all environments! This project will reach students across all ages and grades Kindergarten-12th.

About my class
