Students will access living organisms and learn to appreciate the biological life around them. They will be able to experience animals in both living examples and collecting much of the life around them. Being able to collect the insects around them, they can better appreciate life, not be repulsed by it. Students will gain learning about those living things that most of society takes for granted or ignores completely. Seeing and handling the living organisms that surround our world, will deepen students' understanding and empower them. The class will take many of the topics learned in 6th, 7th, 8th grades, and biology, and gain a deeper understanding of the things considered more "creepy" and learn to love and appreciate it.
