The weight plates will be used for teaching students how to safely and effectively perform resistance training movements in a physical education setting. These movements will give students the confidence and experience to then perform a regular resistance training program outside of the education setting. Resistance training can have a huge impact on a students social emotional well being by helping them to develop social emotional traits like; grit, perseverance, humility, optimism, and growth mindset. Resistance training also has a huge impact on overall health, which is imperative to combating Covid 19.

About my class
