Math can be a daunting and challenging subject for many students. Students feel they are either naturally capable or they aren't. Encouraging middle school aged kids to take ownership for and engage in the learning process can be difficult! All students can do hard things, math included, but it takes some work and buy in on their part. Games and activities noticeably increase my students willingness to learn and take ownership of the process! They love being able to participate in fun, less traditional learning activities and know that in order to participate in them, they have to work towards mastering the skills we are learning! The games and activities requested will be used to facilitate a more positive and fun learning environment. Students will utilize the resources for review games, lesson activities and targeted interventions. The chargers and power strip will be used to allow my students to continue to utilize the technology provided by our district to engage in online learning activities and intervention resources!
