As students returned to the classroom this year, they were all eager and excited to meet and interact with their peers. I hope to continue to broaden their understanding of the diversity of the world around them. My book choices not only focus on diversity in a multicultural setting but also diversity in learning. Some students will enjoy a chapter book while some reluctant readers will enjoy a graphic novel. Students can enjoy the flexible seating options to better enjoy their reading experience. Not only will the choices selected help students academically, but the choices will also help them socially, as well. Interactive board games for recess will benefit students struggling to interact after separation due to COVID.
