Many students struggle with anxiety and stress at school so they choose not to come at all. We are creating a wellness room where students can go to feel safe and calm. This will help them regain their focus and return to learning. We hope that by having a safe place they know they can go to during the day, it will give them the tools to do what they can and attend the classes that they can, using those small victories to build on and give them the skills to be successful in school, instead of letting their struggles overtake them.

About my class
