With these new whiteboards and dry erase markers, students can participate at the same time instead of waiting until another group is done with their lab. After teaching a short lesson, the students will answer a question that I give by writing their answer on the whiteboard without fellow students seeing their answer. When I say now, each student will show me their answer all at once. By seeing their answer, I will be able to see if they know what I taught. This can be a group or individual activity. Magnets give me a lot of different options to teach about magnetism. Our school has some magnets but very few. These magnets are of a different variety than we have so it gives me different opportunities. Glue guns give me a huge opportunity to try many things.
