I will use these tuners in my music classes to help students become independent at tuning their instruments. It often takes a lot of class time to help each student with this process. These tuners attach to the instrument picking up the vibrations of only that instrument-not the others around it. It gives the students a visual graph so students can see as well as hear when their instrument is on pitch. Students will also benefit we would have enough to let each one take a tuner home to benefit their home practice sessions. An in tune instrument is essential to developing a musical ear. A new guitar will benefit students in my guitar class who are unable to afford their own instrument. The tuners will help students who take their instruments home to tune without assistance from the teacher.
