When technology is integrated, my students are engaged and excited to learn! Due to COVID-19, many of my students have fallen behind or are unable to attend school due to sickness. Having a blended classroom helps me work in small groups with my students so I can teach them, catch them up and support them best. A blended classroom means I need my students to be working on technology devices while I am also providing small group instruction. Having these headphones will provide my students the opportunity to work quietly by themselves without distraction. Headphones with microphones will help achieve a higher depth of knowledge as well as the ability to explain thoughts and processes. Technology produces engaging, collaborative, and critical thinking opportunities for students and teaches crucial skills to be successful in life. Having an iPad in the classroom will unlock different types of media such as ebooks, videos, and audio. This iPad will contribute to English Language Learners by supporting them with their learning needs as well as help with communication barriers. This technology can be utilized for multiple school subjects such as small group instruction, math, science, literacy and social studies. My students will benefit significantly by the implementation of this iPad and headphones. In today's world, it's imperative to have technology skills in all aspects of life and these tools will aid in getting students these skills.
