The majority of my students have learning challenges; I have several IEP, ELL, and Title One students who could greatly benefit from becoming more engaged in their learning experiences. I feel that expanding my classroom library would offer opportunities to stimulate an interest in reading. I feel that reading is a life long endeavor and if I can help my students to become readers, then they can succeed in all of their educational endeavors. All areas of life are simply better with books! Books are the gateway to student success.

About my class
