These materials will make a difference in my students' lives because I will be able to provide them with a safe classroom space for emotional regulation and coping skills. My students have faced many challenges and require further emotional support to help them focus on their education. The bean bags will help provide a cool-down zone in the classroom for students so use as a safe place to de-escalate, the Mad dragon SEL game will help my students learn about using their calm down skills. The sight word Zingo will help with engaging students with learning new sight words and improving their reading. Above all I want for my classroom to be a safe, loving, accommodating place for my students' neurodivergent and emotional needs. I want them to look forward to going to school and know that they will be safe and happy here.
