Many of my students come to school with baggage from things they experience at home. Many come from poor families and unstable families where they have been hit hard from Covid either because of job loss or depression. I always want to be able to provide a safe space for learning which is positive and uplifting and they will be able to focus on their studies. I will have a calm corner with wobble chairs and cushion they can go to when they are in need of a break or a mindful minute. I also want them to be able to have more hands-on learning in science to captivate their minds and get them excited to learn.
