In an online school, all students need to be working on the same type of device. When all students in an online class are using the same technology, more time can be spent on teaching curriculum, and less time on troubleshooting technology issues. Currently, our online school can not provide uniform devices to all students. This causes a lot of unnecessary issues during class time. Precious minutes are lost trying to troubleshoot technology issues with devices that are unfamiliar. Instruction goes so much faster and more efficiently when every students is working on the same device. We can rent out the Apple iPad to parents who do not have access to one. This will allow us to give our students access to common devices.
