First, I chose a handful of books to get a small group set for. I love having students do book clubs, and so far, they have loved it to. My choices thus far have been very slim, and I'm excited to add more titles to our class collection. I also choice single copies of a wide variety of books; more so dealing with history. History is meant to be engaging, and these books will come alive through students presenting what they've learned. My class is so creative, and I want to give them more opportunities to show their creativity. As a teacher, I obviously love to have their work tied to something specific. With my class being so excited about history this year, I am looking forward to seeing them learn more through literature.
