Students who are doing school online and in class will both be allowed to use these materials for their National History Day projects. My school doesn't offer any art classes for students to participate in so the students who are artistically inclined rarely get to demonstrate their abilities through their schoolwork. Even the students who aren't amazing artists still enjoy doing these activities that break up the monotony of their day. I love being able to incorporate art into my lessons. National History Day is one of the bigger projects that they get to participate in and they get to demonstrate their artistic ability by creating an exhibit that demonstrates their learning. Having access to materials would allow them to help their exhibits shine. Many of my students come from low income homes and are not able to afford many materials for themselves. As a result, the main access they have to art materials for their projects comes from my classroom. I would love to be able to give them more supplies to gain access to.
