For their projects, I am combining a geography lesson, economics, and history for students to more accessibly learn about Native Americans. These resources would be used by my 5th-grade students who are currently doing the project. At the current moment, they are doing a portfolio in which they have different regions they are searching. They have to write the geography of the region and provide a list of the Native American tribes that lived in that region. When they identified the tribes that lived in the region, the students will have to write about how the tribes lived off the land, who the tribes are and their significance, alliances they had, etc. When students are finished, I want them to present their portfolio on the poster boards. This is all part of my PBL approach.
