I am a selfish person I want the best resources, materials opportunities for each and every one of my students. I want them to feel spoiled ,and that they had the best whether it is with something simple like markers they are using for a project or something bigger like a charging station where they could keep their iPads charged and working not only for my class but for their other classes they have through out the day as well. I want them to feel like they can come into my class and that they can learn and accomplish anything. I wanted to focus on items that I felt like would be used on a daily basis and that would also help students focus on individual learning needs. -Dry Erase markers, sharpies, whiteboards - Are all items that I would use on a daily basis for review games, exit tickets, projects, writing assignments. -Headphones - These are a must have because it is so hard and distracting listening to 30 different kids do the same assignment. I can give the student headphones and individualize anything we could be working on that day. -USB charging station and iPad charging cords are my answer to having a mobile charging station without having to pay a fortune to get one. One of the biggest issues I have seen is the lack of charging cords in a classroom. Students do the best they can to keep them charged ,but they have to use them all day long and the battery drains extremely fast, it is a constant issue. This was my solution to that, I can move that anywhere in my room I need to and I can have students charge their Ipads from their seats.
