Being a STEM-based class we not only use the Chromebook for written assignments but also use it for programs such as Tinkercad for 3D drawings. Chromebooks also save on paper as we use google classroom to submit the students' assignments online. There are also simulation games that our students can do on our computers such as PHET Colorado simulation activities. Training videos or "how-to" videos are easily accessible on their laptops for individual-paced learning. Much of what we do now is cloud-based which makes the Chromebooks sufficient for many activities where in the past we needed a computer with a larger hard drive.
