The students in my third grade class will be thrilled to receive these biographies that they can access daily in our classroom library. Our school library is wonderful, but there are so many students who love to read these Who Was, and Who Is series of books that they are often unavailable. As well as reading them for pleasure, my students will use them to research a famous person of their choice and then write a short biography about that person. Finally, together with their families they will decorate a pop bottle to share with the class all about that person.
