As a new and first year teacher I need all the help and organization I can get. Having a place to store all of my supplies and having organization has a great impact on my students. It will be so much easier for them store, carry, and use their literacy materials! During Daily 5 rotations, students are able to choose their activities from various literacy choices and use flexible seating around the room to stay engaged. My aide and I work with small groups or one-on-one with students. Having storage such as book boxes, and an armoire will give students a surface to write on, a place to keep their books, and more room to walk in our portable classroom. There will be no more boxes tipping over and spilling books, or students tripping over materials.
