The students in our classroom all have some sort of disability; learning and otherwise. Our classroom serves as a sort of decompression space and safe space for our little friends throughout the day, and having sensory seating and other sensory items will help us further our efforts to make our classroom a safe and calm space for these amazing students. Our students have had to overcome so many challenges throughout the pandemic, and on top of that they adapt and adjust to multiple obstacles every single day. Having plenty of adaptive sensory friendly seating in our room, as well as other sensory integration tools, will be invaluable to our team!
