We live in a low socio-economic area. Because of that, most students do not have calculators at home to help with their school work. I would like some calculators that can be checked out and available for those students. I have so many students that don't have the proper tools to complete their homework and this project would greatly help! Technology can greatly enhance a student's learning. And having the proper tools to help facilitate that learning will greatly help! I truly hope that Calculators for Checkout will help involve the parents in their children's learning as well.

About my class
