All of the students in my class have Autism and or learning disabilities, in my class we focus on behavior, social skills and academics. Each student works very hard each day. The resources and supplies I have chosen will help my students in person and online! I have added an iPad, which will help my students in the classroom by allowing applications that fulfill the students accommodations and needs while attending school in person. An iPad will help staff to interact with students through out each day should we go into distance learning. The iPad gives us the capability for more staff to be able to meet with more students online, and support student success no matter what setting they're in. I have Included a variety of snacks and drinks for the students so they can have full stomachs to face their day and the work ahead of them. I have included school and cleaning supplies to help staff and students be able to work together in the classroom and stay safe and reduce the chance of spreading sickness. There are various learning tools and fidgets which help support the kids as they focus on academics. I have chosen items such as games, puzzles and Legos which help the students practice appropriate social interactions. The students will be able to utilize these items in the classroom as incentives for positive outcomes and productive focus. My students work so hard in school, and I would love to able reward them for their work when we're in school and when we're at a distance!
