I want to help my students develop a strong reading foundation. I need them to have mirrors to see the shape of their mouth when learning the sounds. I also need them to have tiles to match so they can match their alphabet. (Alphabet Rainbow) I put number tiles in there so they could recognize the difference between their numbers and their letters. The magnet and rings would be used in the tap it zip it game from the LETRS class I am taking. I purchased many notebooks for journaling and writing new words. I plan on having the students make word chains, complete word sorts and develop a writing foundation with the different types of notebooks. Finally, I wanted some hands-on, fun ways for my students to learn phonics. I use learning centers in my room and think the games would make learning exciting for my young kids and break up the paper pencil work. Thank you!
